PFL Team News 2012 - Volume 12

This is the last edition of the Pawling Library's News Team. As we go to press we want to extend our gratitude to the unsung heroes of our program - the parents! These are the people who courageously signed their children up for a program where they spent hours simply writing! How many youngsters want to do that over their summer vacation? While there was some grumbling at the beginning, it was amazing to see how much progress these young people made in developing their writing skills as well as their social skills as they observed and interviewed people for their stories. They are an incredible group of reporters and it was so much fun to work with them. Thanks goes to them for all of their efforts and to their parents who not only signed them up, but also drove them to the library so they could cover their assignments!
