PFL News Team 2012 - Volume 10

     My name is Jacob. I am going into grade 5 and I have lots of friends. The school that I go to is the Pawling Central Middle School. I have lots of friends there and a very big family.
     Every year I go to Pennsylvania to Pinebrook. Pinebrook is a community with a dining hall, pool and a little cabin. I stay there for a week.
     The reason I decided to be a reporter for PFL News is because I love to write. That is the end of this "myself" article.

     Every Tuesday the team meets for fun day. This year the team is working on piñatas for the carnival. The program ends on August 24th. For them to make the piñatas they have to glue newspaper strips on their balloons, then they had to fill it with candy and finally, they painted their piñatas.
     The piñata I made was Greg from "Diary Of A Wimpy Kid." The other kids made Calvin, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Harry Potter, Tacky and Yoga. Everyone did a fantastic job of making their piñatas. I'm really proud of mine and they should be proud of themselves too.

     The people in stargazers did alien activities last week. The first activity was making alien masks. Ty made Dr. Pikachu who was run over and stuff. Nick made Mario because he's in love in him and Matt made Luigi because he likes being skinny and Luigi is skinny.
     The second activity was reading. Madeline read us "The Boy Who Cried Alien." In the book there was a boy named Luis. Luis was a liar and nobody believed him. Then two aliens came and started talking in alien language. Alien language was in backward language. It was a good book.
     The last activity was we played games. We played a tag game with a UFO. When we finished we got books. I got a weird school series book and two Captain Underpants books. It was really fun even though we don't look at the stars.

     Fun Day is a place at Lakeside to have fun with your friends. You can play outside and play lots of games you would like to play. Also, there is pizza you can eat for dinner. There are lots of things you can do inside. The things inside are a pool table, an air hockey table, a pingpong table and an office full of computers. There is also a playground you can play on if there is a teacher there. You can also go on the playground near lakeside if you want to play
Gravity
     The time is to 6:30 to 9:00. You want every thing they have there at every time of day. It is held at Lakeside in the back house for 5th grade and up. If you are come tonight have a fun and amazing time at Fun Day! They are held on Tuesdays and Fridays. You can have the best time ever.

     Last time the reporters were here they helped me write the things that go on the Internet. They covered chess club, interviewing people, which what PFL news is about. We cover lots more at the library. Did you know that I'm one of the people that do the things at the library? It is really nice talking to you, and I hope to see you soon.
