The
Fun Team kids have done a great job preparing for this event. They've
dreamed up 20 games all related to books or characters, so there will be fun
for the whole family. Kids can try Bowling for Princesses, The Wizard
of Oz Squirting game or they can play PFL Quidditch! There is
something for everyone to enjoy. While they play, the kids will be
earning raffle tickets that they can enter in our end of summer raffles.
Dessert and raffle drawings will begin at 3:00 pm so they'll have plenty of
time to make those entries!
The Fun Team has also created 7 piñatas for the kids to enjoy and yes, they all look like characters we know and love...Yoda, Tacky, Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Harry Potter, Greg the Wimpy Kid and Hobbs. We'll draw names and have teams of children breaking open the piñatas and sharing the contents every 15 minutes. There will be lots to do and fun galore, so we hope you'll join us.
If the weather doesn't cooperate, the Character Carnival will take place on Saturday, August 25th from 1:00 - 3:00 pm, but remember we'll need you to call us at 855-3444 and let us know you are coming. We want to be sure to have enough dessert for everyone!
